System Defaults

Click the System Defaults toolbar button to access the System Administration Tool . From this tool, you can specify settings that will apply as defaults to all new users subsequently created in the system. Note that these settings do not apply to existing users. That is very important to keep in mind. It only applies to users created after the system defaults have been saved. If you want to change settings for an existing user, you must select that user and change the settings manually.

From the System Administration tool, you can create default values for the settings available in each category. All of these settings are fully described in the Prefs Desktop chapter, with the specific page numbers for each category listed below for your reference.
