Device Settings

The Device Settings screen allows administrators to configure the handheld device settings for the selected user. The Device Settings screen is only available to users with a PAT Access Level of Level 1 . When you select Device from the Edit Settings menu, the General Settings screen appears.

The Device Settings screen allows administrators to view and configure the following parameters:

Last Sync Time : This setting displays the time that the user last synced his handheld device.

Battery Level : This setting displays the percentage of battery life remaining on the handheld device.

Handheld Memory Available : This setting displays the amount of memory (in Bytes) available for use on the handheld device.

Last Web Session : This setting displays the date and start time of the user's last access to the system via the web interface.

Device Type : This setting lets you specify whether the user's handheld device uses a PalmOS operating system or PocketPC .

Force Full Sync? : This setting determines whether or not the selected user has to complete a full sync every time he syncs his handheld device. Choose Yes to force the selected user to complete full syncs; otherwise, choose No . Keep in mind that full syncs can be very time intensive when making your choice.

Active Handheld Applications : This setting displays the list of modules available to the user on the handheld device. Click the Edit link and check those modules in the Active Applications form that you want the user to have.
