Problem List Settings
The
Problem List Settings
screen allows you to decide which stock Quick Problem list categories are visible on the handheld, and whether or not you will be able to enter Free Text diagnoses instead of choosing from the pre-defined lists. When you select
Problem List
from the
Edit Settings
menu, the
Problem List Settings
screen appears.

H-Pickers
: This setting displays a list of problem list categories created at a departmental level and available for the selected user on their handheld device. Users can select problem list categories and diagnoses codes contained within the categories when they add a Quick Problem for a patient on their handheld device. Click the
Edit
link to modify the hide/unhide settings for the stock problem list categories, or to change the label for a code within the categories.

To set the hide/unhide properties for a problem list category, click on the name of the category and a
Hide
or
Unhide
link will appear. Click on it to toggle the setting for the category. Once a category is hidden, it will no longer appear on the Quick Problem list on the handheld device.

To change the name of a code within a category, click on the `+' symbol preceding the category name to expand the view. Then, click on the name of the code and edit the label name in the
Edit Code Label
box that appears.

Allow Free Text Diagnoses
: This setting determines whether or not the user can enter problems using free text (either graffiti or another input mode). Choose
Yes
to give the user this capability; choose
No
and force the user to select problems from a predefined list.
