   Are we running the sendmail that supports .discuss names, so that
   you don't need to install an alias at all? or were those changes
   experimental? 

The code is in the sendmail.cf.  I haven't tested it.  It was copied
mostly verbatim from Stan's version running on the old charon
(although it was translated into Ease, obviously).
