I'm not sure that I agree with this.  Does this means if we lose AFS
charon's mail server goes down, along with the discuss feeds?  I
thought we maintained a policy of essential services not depending on
extrenal thigns (like AFS) if we could help it...  Are we low enough
on space that we can't afford to keep the ease stuff local?
