  No.  Sendmail isn't referencing anything over AFS.

Not sendmail, but the sendmail setup - generating the aliases,
sendmail.cf, the localusers, etc. files - would any of this need to be
regenerated in the event of a non-disastrous crash?  Now that I think
about it, I guess the answer is `no', so it doesn't matter.  Sorry -
it was just my reflexive `make the serevrs standalone' reaction.
