SoftWindows95.sw.lman22 tries to do a cpio trick (removing the cpio
	file on completion) which fails in symlink mode. Could install
	subsystem locally (maybe; pass 3 issues) or populate lman22c.cpio
	in the /os volume. (status 9)

nfs.sw.nis tries to run an apparently self-removing .yp.inst.sh.
	Could do as above, or simply punt the subsystem. (status 9)
	(nis causes premature termination of install; currently punted)

iconbookedit (videoin, videoout) failure in local files install (status 10)

misc errors remain at diskless boot time

make sure logs of entire installation exist

make symlink mess to cope with AFS modload needing a unix to find symbols

documentation of generation of /os volume

make installation grab more code from /srvd

install currently depends on ais locker. fixed by above.

make diskless image close match what ops wants

current stripped images have dskless stripped out, but all of the
	important stuff is config files and links, so it works anyway.
	i'm not bothering to fix it now.
