Chris   (President)  Chris is a first-year graduate student in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Technology and Policy Program. He developed a passion for flight at a young age and is currently learning to fly sailplanes. His other interests are renewable energy and sustainable development."



Amy   (Treasurer)  Amy is a Master's student in the Humans and Automation Laboratory (HAL) in the Aero-Astro Engineering Department.  She is a licensed private pilot with around 100 hours of flight in Cessna 150s.  As Treasurer of the flying club, Amy prepares the budget for the club, drawing on various funding resources to support the club's meetings, lectures, events, and library of pilot information and training materials.


andreas   (Law and Liability)  Andreas is a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Center for BioMedical Engineering.  He learned to fly with the Texas A&M University flying club while doing his PhD in physics.  He is a private pilot with about 100 hours and is currently working towards his IFR rating and glider endorsement.  He shares responsibility with Zach Labry on the Law and Liability committee and together they are spearheading the effort to obtain an aircraft for the MITFC in the near future.


robert   (Webmaster)  Robbie Ocampo, a recent graduate of Haverford College, is now slaving away the best days of his life at the Jenks Vestibular Lab/Man Vehcile Lab, where he specializes in vestibular physiology, space human factors, and procrastination.   He is slightly obsessive about running, is a big fan of the White Mountains and Ashlee Simpson, and enjoys long walks on the beach.  Robbie hopes to finish his pilot's license this spring.


In the spring of 2006, Laura Garrity was elected as the new treasurer.  Brandon Reese will take over in charge of Books and Supplies, and Zsuzsa Megyery and Fred Gay will head Events and Trip Planning.
