Jonathan Lovegren (President)
Jonathan is a graduate student in the Aero/Astro department.
He has a passion for general aviation and enjoys flying adventures.
Jonathan graduated from Georgia Tech in 2008 with a degree in Aerospace
Engineering and was president of Georgia Tech's flying club.
There he helped maintain club aircraft and led a committee to purchase
a new trainer aircraft. He holds a Private Pilot certificate with an
Instrument rating and Complex endorsement.
He hopes to earn his Commercial and CFI licenses in the near future.
Jonathan loves flying, anytime, so let him know if you someone to go flying with!

Kevin Cedrone (Treasurer)
Kevin Cedrone is a MechE grad student in the Sloan Automotive Laboratory where he
researches alternative fuels, emissions control mechanisms and alternative
combustion modes. He holds a private pilot certificate he earned in Canada.
He's toying with the idea of adding night and instrument while he's in the US.

Kwami Williams (Archives & Records)
Kwami is a sophomore undergraduate in the Department of
Aeronautics and Astronautics. He loves aviation and would like to

Chuky Mbagwu (Trips & Events)
Chuky is a junior in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
His academic interests lie heavily in the field of jet and spacecraft
propulsion. He enjoys flying and loves to do so whenever he can.
Since he began flying at age 10, Chuky has accumulated over 82 hours
of flight time. Despite the difficulty of finding time to fly in college,
he plans to his obtain his Private Pilot license by the end of the
non-academic year.

Christin Hart (Publicity & Relations)
Christin is a second year graduate student in the Department of Aeronautics
and Astronautics and works in the Humans and Automation Lab designing and
testing an interface for multi-UAV control. Christin graduated from the
US Air Force Academy and looks forward to starting pilot training in the
summer of 2010 at Sheppard AFB in the the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training
Program. Christin loves traveling and going on flyouts with the club.

Nana is a junior undergraduate in the Department of Aeronautics
and Astronautics. His academic interests lie in the fields of control
and shock waves. He plans to become a private pilot when money is no
more an issue.

Kostas Speridakos (President)
Kostas is a junior in the Aero/Astro department and holds
a commercial certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
Besides flying, there is nothing he likes to do more than talk about
flying, so send him an email if you have questions about learning
to fly or just want to talk about airplanes!

Andrew March (Treasurer)
Andrew March is a second year graduate student in the Department of
Aeronautics and Astronautics researching computational aircraft design.
He did his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and then worked
on the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles at SpaceX in Los Angeles.
It is in LA where Andrew obtained his private pilot's certificate
and instrument rating. He is also rated for search and rescue flying
with the Civil Air Patrol. Andrew hopes to become a CFI, bring inexpensive
flying to the MIT community, and further MIT's connection to aviation.

Jeremy Katz (Archives & Records, Webmaster)
Jeremy is a junior in the Aero/Astro department with a focus
in aerodynamics and a love for commercial and general aviation aircraft.
He earned his Private Pilot certificate over the summer of 2007 in
the Piper Tomahawk, and now flies the Piper Warrior. jbkatz

Jason Maloney (Trips & Events)
Jason is an undergraduate in the Aerospace Engineering department
at Boston University. He holds a private pilot certificate which he
obtained in Boston, and is currently training for his instrument rating.
Jason is a member of the Civil Air Patrol and is also interested in
aerobatics. He loves to travel and is always looking for new places

Zach is a senior in the Aero/Astro department and is a co-founder
of the MIT Flying Club. He holds a Private Pilot certificate with

Romain Lévy (Trips & Events)
Romain (ESD Grad, 2008) is a private pilot on single-engine land airplanes.
He passed his initial license in June 2006 in France, on Robin DR221
(tailwheel!) on a grass runway airfield near Paris (LFPZ). In the
summer of 2007, he participated in the Young Pilots' "Tour de
France", a 2-week precision flight competition with 45 other
young pilots, organized by the FFA (equivalent of the AOPA). In the
US, he first got his JAR license converted to an FAA one, but finally
took the checkride for an unrestricted FAA license. He now has a little
over 150 hours and flies on Piper Warriors from East Coast Aero Club,
