Objectives

The MIT Flying Club at Massachusetts Institute of Technology aims at providing opportunities and resources to the MIT community to develop and explore flying activities.

To fulfill this objective, we envision the flying club activities to

• provide information to the community of people affiliated with MIT on initial training opportunities and resources for the certified pilots.

• provide a forum for flight enthusiasts to discuss flight related issues, events and activities

• be a focal point for organising flights, trips, training camps, etc.

• foster hands-on experience and facilitate exposure to flight and complex system operations to complement classroom eduation and laboratory research
