The FBOs there are:
-
Eagle East Aviation
Phone : 978-683-3314
An customer-service oriented FBO with 11 airplanes
(Cessnas 152 and 172, including a 2000 one, Pipers Warrior 160 and 180, an Arrow, and an Aztec).
Also an AST 300, and a candy machine (I guess the guy I interviewed was jocular).
The staff include 8 instructors, and six full-time mechanics.
There's a CATS testing center in the premises.
Their rates as of November 2000 include $55 for the 152s, $68 for the 172s and Warriors
($77 for the 180, and $88 for the 2000 172),
$85 for the Arrow and $175 for the Aztec. Instruction was $30.
Some elements of their rental policies (which are similar to what you'll find elsewhere):
thorough check-outs including weight & balance and cross-country planning, a 4-hour minimum daily rental, a 24h-cancellation policy (half the rental time is charged otherwise),
and the need to carry you own liability.
