Welcome to Massachusetts Institute of Technology Flying Club

Welcome aviators and everybody else to the online forum of flying at MIT!
Some of the interesting things you will find on this web site are information on local flying in the Boston Area, how to become a pilot, club activities and useful links. We have online services to view or arrange flying trips with friends or rides to airports (see below). Our photo gallery currently features photos of Boston, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and much more!
Enjoy!

Features and activities

It is time to leave the academics behind and arrange a flying trip to an exciting place. Let your friends view and join the trip. All that is possible to do online with our web site. Or perhaps there is an important flying club meeting coming up soon that you don't want to miss, check that out on our Bulletin Board.

The MIT Flying Team

The MIT Flying Team will compete in the National Intercollegiate Flying Competition Region VII event in October, 2001. Read more...

Register flying hours

Members of the flying club can register flying hours from East Coast Aero Club (Hanscom Airfield) online at our server pages. We strongly recommend you to register flying hours after each time you have been flying.
