In 1871, an agricultural laborer, living at Groeswen with his wife Mary, their children Catherine and William, and Catherine's son William. In 1881, a coal miner, living at 6 Groeswen Ganol (i.e. 6 Middle Groeswen) with his son Howell and Howell's wife and son.
