Subject: Cancellations
Date: Tue, 24 Sep 1996 02:13:19 EDT

Someone really evil has apparently cancelled a whole bunch of postings
and now someone is trying to repost them all. See
news.admin.net-abuse.misc articles 104547 and 105055. Right now, the
person who is reposting the articles is putting the line:

Reposting article removed by rogue canceller.

before the Archive-name line on each post. This is going to break
post-faq massively. I don't know perl well enough to alter post-faq to
get it to deal correctly with all these postings, so if you do, you
might want to deal. Otherwise, we're just going to get a large email
message with complaints about how post-faq couldn't deal. I'm about to
write to the guy who's sending all these reposts.

Emily
