Hello,

We were forwarded your request on how to get FAQs on the rtfm archive
since we are the maintainers of the archive. Basically, to get any FAQ
in there, you need to be put in the List of Periodic Informational
Postings. To do that, send mail to us at news-answers-request@mit.edu
with the information about the Newsgroups you are going to post your FAQ
to, the Subject fo the FAQ, who it's From (you, for instance), and the
Posting Frequency, along with a copy of the FAQ. So, it should look
like this, but with the real information:

Newsgroups: alt.list.newsgroups.here,comp.this.is.a.sample
Subject: Stupid Information FAQ
From: nobody@nowhere.com
Posting-Frequency: monthly

Then start your FAQ. Your other option is to get your FAQ approved for
posting on the moderated news.answers newsgroup. I have included the
guidelines your FAQ must abide by for approval below. Also send end
news.answers approvals to news-answers-request@mit.edu. If you have any
other questions, feel free to ask at news-answers-request@mit.edu.
