The faq hasn't been posted for a considerable time, why I suspect the
time being the most convenient for a change of the archive names.
Maybe the form I've proposed are may lead to the parts being listed in
appropriate order also in ftp-archives and other alphabetic lists.

In the subject line I think that would be highly valuable, but the archive
names are maybe informative enough without?

Well, the parts are quite voluminous, but the alternative would be
anything like thirty parts, and I really don't know if that would be
much better.

We come from a part of the world, where maybe expiration times are
longer than in other parts. For the *.answers groups it's common with
6 months - or longer. 

How short time would you suggest?
