Thanks for writing Pam.

Yes, the recreational skating FAQ is still active, although the version of
it which is on rtfm.mit.edu is outdated.  A version created in October 1995
is on my Web site at

Part of the problem was that, over the year, the FAQ grew into a total of
ten sections, each of which had an individual name.  Everytime I thought of
resubmitting it, it was time to reorganize the FAQ.

The FAQ is undergoing yet another revision.  I promise that I will submit
the new version to news.answers as promptly as I can.
