Folks:  Thanks to the suggestions by Phil and Gary, the bionet.info-theory
faq now posted within a few minutes both to the bionet archive and to
news.answers.  The key was to remove unnecessary lines.  In a second test, I
was able to include a summary and key words.  Unfortunately the summary is
not shown by Netscape, so I am moving it inside the FAQ.  Looks like it will
be clear sailing from now on.  Tom
