I feel like rather a newbie asking this question, and I am not even sure
that it is the appropriate place or to the appropriate people;
nonetheless, I am hoping you can help me.

I have recently had to take over the job of maintaing order (and the FAQ)
for alt.humour.best-of-usenet. I noticed that there is anold copy of the
FAQ at the ftp site rtfm.mit.edu, and would like to know how one goes
about submitting an updated version.

Secondly, (and this may be related), I am posting the FAQ to ahbou and
ahbou.d as I assume these to be the two related groups; are there news.*
groups to which I should also be posting this FAQ?

Unfortunately the old maintainer is now incognito and unavailable for
questions, else I would ask them. Furthermore, I do not desire to join
the mailing-list, as I have not time for more mail (more mail!) and the
FAQ was left to me in pretty good shape.

Thank you to any of you who can assist me in these areas.
