1) The news.answers introduction (news-answers/introduction)
references the FAQ archive at

  http://www.smartpages.com/faqs/

The Smartpages archive appears to be totally defunct. However,
Kent Landfield's archive at

  http://www.landfield.com/faqs/

seems to be stable, if rather new. I've decided it's the best
http link for now, and have changed the diabetes faq to point to
it. I suggest making the same change to the news.answers
introduction.


2) There's a file on rtfm:

  /pub/usenet/news.answers/diabetes/general

which was a one-time posting to overwrite old versions of the
diabetes faq, especially the ones at OSU. This file should be
removed. It now gets in the way, especially since Kent Landfield
is mirroring rtfm rather than intercepting Usenet postings
directly, so it shows up on his site too.
