Hi Iris!

I was looking through the Bible for passages about God's guidance,
and I thought you'd be interested in some of the things I found.

First off, here are some scriptural explanations of the power of
scripture.

Hebrews 4:12
Ephesians 6:10-17
2 Timothy 3:15-17

We can more fully comprehend God's wisdom when we read scripture
prayerfully, asking Jesus to be present with us and enlighten us as
we read.

Luke 24:25-27,32,45

Here are some scripture references about how we are adopted sons and
daughters of God through our faith in Jesus. Because of this, we are
heirs to the kingdom of God, and we inherit all that God promised to
Abraham in the first Covenant as well as the promises of the second
Covenant made by Jesus.

Romans 8:14-17
Galatians 3:26 - 4:7

Here are some of God's promises of protection and guidance under the
first covenant.

Jeremiah 29:11
Psalm 121:8
Psalm 34:8-9
Psalm 145:18-19
Psalm 37:23-24

And here are some of God's promises of protection and guidance under
the second covenant

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Hebrews 13:5-8
Romans 8:37-39
Romans 8:28

So with these promises in mind, we can confidently approach the
throne of grace, knowing that God's desires the best for us and wants
to reveal his plan to us. Ask and listen.

Love,

Terry
