Well,

quinefaut and decide executables are built from sources that
are approximately clean.

That's not the case of geneone.c, genepnm.c and associated scripts
that are very dirty, etc, etc, etc, and were never designed to
be used by anyone else as me.

If you really want to make a new tree, here are some explanations:

- first, move all the contents of this crap directory .. (that is,
in the main quinefaut directory)

- make geneone
- make genepnm

- fetch a quest executable from Pr. Yu-Shan Shih web site
http://lilac.math.ccu.edu.tw/~yshih/
and put it in the main quinefaut directory. The questencapsulated
script assumes you use questlinux version

- you must have:
latex (with times font), dvips, gs (with pgmraw output device),
pnmcrop on your box, and bash also

- run
./learn tata trivial 500 50

to build a tree from 500 samples with questlinux. Total running
time on a P400 Linux box: 1h20

./learn toto trivial 1000 150

to build a tree from 1000 samples with questlinux. Total running
time on a P400 Linux box: 8h20.
