Have you ever wondered about all of those random processes running
on your workstation when you log in?  Does the output of "ps aux" confuse
and mystify you?  Do you just want to understand a bit more how Athena
workstations work?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes," then you should come
to the SIPB microcourse this Friday, January 24, from 12 noon to 2 PM
in Twenty Chimneys.  In the microcourse, entitled "What runs on your
workstation," I will discuss the various processes running on a
workstation when you log into it.  I'll also field, as well as I can,
any questions you have about the way our workstations are put
together.
