The mailing list is up and happy. But both ambar and I have been too busy (hmm, hassled ?) lately to go out to dinner. It doesn't take a lot of time to organize a kabuki. Much more time to travel to one, chat and eat! Here's what I do: - pick a restaurant, time (usually 7pm), and date (usually a Tuesday or Wednesday). - make a reservation for 12 people. - announce the dinner to the list, the week before and ask for RSVP's. include MBTA and automobile directions to the restaurant, and it's address and phone number. - call the restaurant mid-afternoon of the date and fine tune the reservation. I usually use: (# of yesses) + 1/2 (# of maybes) + 2. Know that you all know the wizardly incantations, hopefully one or more of you will organize a kabuki! enjoy -len
