activism	Files related to activism in general, NOT to any
		particular "cause."
com_err		Sources for the MIT Student Information Processing
		Board (SIPB) "com_err" error-handling package.
delete		Sources for the Project Athena "delete" package, by
		Jonathan Kamens.
jargon		The Jargon File, edited by Eric S. Raymond.
mail-servers	Various mail archive server packages.
popmail		An enhanced version of the UCB mail program that
		understands how to do POP.
post_faq	Source code and patches for the "post_faq" utility for
		posting periodic postings to the Usenet.
rkba		Texts concerning the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
usenet		Regular informational postings from various newsgroups
		on the Usenet.
usenet-addresses
		This directory contains a database of addresses which
		is updated periodically from the addresses in an
		entire Usenet news spool.  You cannot actually
		retrieve any files from this archive via the mail
		server.  Instead, when you try to request a file from
		this archive, it is assumed to be a name for which you
		want to search in the list of addresses.  For more
		information about how to search, send the command
		"send usenet-addresses/help".
voting		Another virtual archive (like usenet-addresses).  This
		archive does not actually contain any files; instead,
		it is used to conduct mail votes of various votes.
		Use "send voting/index" to get a list of current
		votes.
xscreensaver	Sources for the X screen-locking program
		"xscreensaver."

The following files are available in this top-level archive:

move-newsrc.shar.Z
		A compressed shar file containing a set of perl
		scripts that can be used to convert the messages
		numbers in a .newsrc file from one NNTP server's
		numbering to another's, as well as to merge the lists
		of read articles in two or more different .newsrc
		files.

post_faq.shar.Z
		A compressed shar file containing a perl script (and
		its man page) for posting periodic postings to the
		USENET automatically.

post_faq.patch3.Z
		A patch to update post_faq from patchlevel 2 to
		patchlevel 3.

To retrieve one of these files, use "send filename", e.g. "send
move-newsrc.shar.Z".
