Hi! Sorry I am so late in getting this out, but hopefully several teams from MIT will come together and participate. The Duke Internet Programming Contest is a real-time programming contest. It's being held at over 100 sites all over the world (see below). Problems have been distributed to site contacts, and they will be made available when the contest begins at 6pm EST November 17. Contest registration, judging, and questions are all handled via email. It's based largely on trust, but I think that this contest should be interesting and a lot of fun. If you are interested, put together a team of up to four people, and read the guidelines and rules documents (see below). Online registration, described in these documents, begins one hour before the contest, at 5pm. Although nothing requires it, I would be interested in finding out who is participating, so if you could also drop me a personal note with the names of your team members, that would be cool.
