Holy shit. Everett is such a dickhead. At the conference, he announced the discovery of a ground chamber at one of the quarries by a group of his students. Things have been more than a little hectic. The site is fucking outstanding, but we've been running around like headless chickens too much to get any real work done.

Sarah seems confident that the chamber was actually discovered a few weeks ago and Everett decided to 'delay' discovering it until the conference, just for impact. I told her we should push him in a hole and drop a 2.5 ton quarry stone on him, but Sarah disagreed.

This being possibly the most significant find at a quarry site ever, we're hoping it may have some strong evidence for my thesis. When we arrived, we certainly didn't expect this, so I guess I should be happy. Everett is such a fucker sometimes.
