Dear Mr. Millstein and Mr. Saunders, My name is Matthew Gray and I have talked with Mr. Saunders on a couple of occasions regarding articles the Globe has written about the Internet. As a brief bit of background, I am a junior at MIT with extensive background in computers and networking. I maintain the MIT SIPB World Wide Web Server, one of the most trafficked web servers in the world. I am very interested in the growth and development of the Internet and have been published in the Global Network Navigator Magazine on the topic of growth of the web. In addition, I have followed the VoxBox column with interest since its creation. Recently, I helped found net.Genesis Corp. with five other MIT students. Our bio sheet is included. We recognize that the growth of the Internet is changing the way people are approaching communication and information. net.Genesis aims to help businesses utilize the Internet for distribution of information and services in a way that suits both the business and the Internet community at large. This past Thursday, Eric Richard, another MIT student and the Software Services Engineer for net.Genesis, recieved the award for "Best Entertainment Site on the Web", for a sports information service he provides via the MIT SIPB Web server. These awards were announced this past Thursday at the First International Conference on the World-Wide Web in Switzerland. The Globe itself has been doing an outstanding job pursuing the integration of it's services into the Internet community through work like VoxBox. It is my hope by sending you information about ourselves that you might direct us to people within the Globe who are interested in writing about [what to put here????]
