Alumni Relations

One of the advantages to being in a fraternity is all the connections which you make as a result. In fact, alumni are some of the greatest resources that we have as undergraduates.

Having been through many of the same experiences, our alums come back to give us advice and help out in our times of need. For example, if you come over for rush, you'll be sure to see a lot of alums, both recent and long past.

Sometimes, brothers get opportunities such as job offers as a result of alumni contacts. For example, last summer one of the brothers sent a resume to a company, and it turned out that one of the employees of that company was a brother. So while many people often have email resumes not return any results, this brother received an offer.

founders day 2000      But even if alums don't benefit us directly, they're cool to have around as brothers. Every year, we have Founder's Day on which we celebrate the founding of the first chapter of Phi Kappa Theta. Usually, we take a trip out to an island with all the brothers, some of our friends, and a bunch of alums. It's always a great time, often consisting of soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, and softball games.

Plus, we have alums all over the country and in random places throughout the world. So, no matter where we go, we can always find an alum to contact for information about cool things in the area.
