From the North...
Take route 93 South (towards Boston) until you get to the "Storrow Drive" exit at the entrace to the city. Take that exit. The exit will curve to the right, and then the road will fork into a tunnel on the left, and a road on the right. Bear left (into the tunnel). You are now on Storrow Drive (heading West), so follow the "From Storrow Drive..." directions below.
From the South...

From the West...
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (route 90) East until you get to the "Copley Square" exit (which is inside of a tunnel). Take that exit. 500 feet after the exit emerges from the tunnel, you will have to make a left turn, yet the exit emerges in the right lane of a multi-lane road. So, be agressive and get into the left lane and take the first left, which will put you on Dartmouth street, heading North. Take your second left onto Commonwealth Ave (the first left is Newbury). Take your first right onto Fairfield. Take your first right onto Marlborough. Take your first right onto Exeter, and then take a quick right into our alley, Public Alley #426. The parking lot of our house is about 3/4 of the way down the alley. Now see the "How to park in our lot..." directions below.
From Storrow Drive...
Note that Storrow Drive has exits on both the left and right sides of the road, and thus it is easy to mistakenly exit. Always watch where you're going, and don't follow a road if the sign above it is for an area which you aren't interested in. Take the "Copley" exit off of Storrow Drive, which will bring you to an intersection with a traffic lite. Take a right at this light, which will put you on Beacon, heading West. Take your second left onto Exeter (first left is Clarendon). Go straight thru the intersection of Marlborough and Exeter, and then take a quick right onto public alley #426, our alley. The parking lot of our house is about 3/4 of the way down the alley. Now see the "How to park in our lot..." directions below.
Via the Subway...
Boston Subway (known as "The T") is divided into 4 "lines". The lines are named after colors, and each line goes in 2 directions: inbound and outbound. Inbound means towards the center of the city, and outbound means away from it. You want to go to the "Copley" stop on the GREEN line. After getting out of the subway, you'll be at the intersection of Boylston and Dartmouth streets. Head down Boylston AGAINST TRAFFIC (west) and take your first right onto Exeter (you will also be walking against traffic on Exeter). Keep walking, through the intersection of Exeter and Newbury. The next intersection is that of Commonwealth and Exeter. Cross all the way over to the far side of this intersection, and take a left onto Commonwealth. You should now be walking to the immediate right of a couple lanes of traffic that are going in the same direction as you. Our house is on this block, about 3/4 of the way down. The house is clearly labeled #229. Now you must extensively ring the doorbell, which is directly to the left of the glass outer door.

How to park in our lot...
Our lot contains enough parking spaces for 7 cars (and maybe another *very* small one or our dumpster). If you do not know how to park correctly, switch drivers with someone who does, or leave the car in the alley and ask someone inside to park your car for you. When parking, pull your car in towards the house all the way, even if you are the only car in the lot (which is unlikely). Park straight, which means perpendicular to the house, the alley, and the other cars. Note that there is another lot adjacent to ours on the right which is *NOT* owned by us. Do not park there, or you will be towed by the owners of it. It easy to tell the distinction, because our lot is directly behind our house (#229), and the other lot isn't. If there is no space, you're probably out of luck. Come in and ask someone what your options are. After you have entered, leave your car keys with a brother. If you don't leave your keys, or if you park wrong, it is very likely that we'll be forced to tow you.
