LIKE A ROCK!

Living at PKT is an introduction to people, opinions, hobbies, and places that a person doesn't normally come across by himself. Our house is a collection of individuals united not by a common interest in sports or partying, but by friendship and brotherhood. Phi Kappa Theta is more than a place to live, it is a place to call home. The friendships made here last a lifetime.

Since there are only 34 of us, no one ever gets lost in the crowd, and it is easy for everyone to get to know each other. At the same time, there are enough of us that there is always someone to hang out with, discuss politics or sports, or take a weekend trip to New York City.

Questions to ask over the phone...

Where is your house located?
How many brothers live in the house?
Is there a freshman Hell Week?
What will the pledge program entail?
How important is partying to the house?
How much does it cost to live there?

One of the goals of our strong brotherhood is to assist each other in growing as brothers, which includes bringing out our endearing qualities. Apparently something went wrong here.
Before: "Ah-Soh....Wedgie!" After: "These Armani pants are too tight in the crotch..."

David Yang '01 Mt. Prospect, IL Management

Dave's initials may be DJY, but to us, he will always be "little" djy. No one is really sure why this is so, but there are quite a few theories floating around. Some of the religious brothers believe it because of his humility before the Almighty. Others, mostly athletes, suspect it is the fact that he hasn't gotten any bigger despite all the weight lifting he does (he can bench twice his own weight). A few think it is because his older brother (whose initials are also DJY) physically overshadows him. One of these days, when Dave isn't too busy with school, church or athletics, we'll have to ask him.
