Party Over Here!

At PKT, we recognize the need to take a break from MIT. After all, there is more to college than academics. To help us enjoy these college years, we fill our social calendar with a variety of activities.

Every Friday we have socials in which brothers and friends can hang out, shoot pool, and listen to music. We throw both open and closed parties during which brothers meet college students from all over the Boston area. With MIT sorority and Wellesley college mixers, bi-annual Semi-formals, barbeques and beach trips rounding out our social calendar, there is never a lack of things to do.

Our new social chair, Mike Negrete, is working hard to make sure next year is the best year ever.

An average crowd for a PKT social event.

"I'll do anything for my citizenship."

Craig Wildman '03 Sunnyvale, CA Mech. Eng. Steward The Wildman is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the athletic field. You see, this one-of-a-kind Californian, though you'd swear he was from the boonies based on his attire, can often be found smoking his competition on the soccer field, the track, or even the classroom all with minimal effort. And although Craig's only of average stature compared to the rest of his pledge class, he's definitely one of its strongest members. Just ask around for stories of his memorable 19th birthday, and you'll hear tall tales of broken banisters, torn jeans, and bite marks. Yes, he was quite hungry that day.

Bryan Perryman '01 Keystone Heights, FL Math/Mgmt. Personnel Director

He's tall, he's white, and he likes soda. Bryan has come a long way from that nondescript description of him during his freshman year. He has blossomed as both a leader and a socialite in going from a quiet kid from Florida to a vocal and motivating force in the house. Serving as both Rush Chair and President this last year, he was obviously seen as responsible and motivating by a majority of the brothers. So what caused this great awakening of Bryan's potential? "Presidents get more chicks."
