BROTHERS
|
| Dave Von Stroh `03 | Harlingen,
TX | Economics / Urban Studies &
Planning |
We've all heard of Venetian blinds...well, it was January when Dave blinded
the Venetians with his blazing intellect, charming smile, and pale skin. A
reformed physics major who is now pursuing degrees in urban studies and
economics, Dave realized that particle physics was not the path to world
peace. In his spare time, he can often be found tearing up the competition
on the football field or basketball court. His determination and
enthusiasm can also be seen in his dedication to the community and to
God. Perhaps, they call him Snowy for his purity, but his ability to
avoid a tan in southern Texas impresses us all.

| Nick Chan `04 | Houston,
TX | Management |
As the
most injured person in the house, Nick rightly earned the name Gimp this
year. When all four limbs are functional, Nick enjoys playing pickup
basketball and intramural sports. When Nick isn't making fun of course
6 majors or spending time with his beautiful Wellesley girlfriend, he can
be found participating in various student groups such as the UA and Chinese
Student Club. Even with his late start,
Nick still makes his presence known at the house with his witty jokes and
amicable personality especially when he moves in next year. |

Mike Negrete `03
Personnel Director | Los Gatos,
CA | EECS |
Mike is a man who likes to be on top. He is slapping his EECS classes silly and
on course to get a Bachelors and Masters in four years. In addition to
being on top of his work, Mike managed to be a hard-working social chair
last year, throwing four awesome parties, some sorority mixers, and a pair
of awesome semiformals. So what else is Mike Negrete on top of? Perhaps
the answer lies in California.

| Ben Schmeckpeper '05 | Shorewood,
WI | EECS |
"Golden Boy"
From the short blond hair,
To the muscles when he's bare,
There are gay men everywhere,
Who just can't help but stare.

Chung-Kit Chan `04
Community Service Chair | Brooklyn,
NY | Mathematics and Management |
Straight from the streets of Brooklyn, NY, this ghetto superstar arrived at
PKT armed with those famous NYC street skills. He's displayed the raw
athleticism that earned him a spot on the varsity volleyball team and on
the highly talented PKT A league Basketball roster. His charming and suave
personality has maintained a steady relationship with his girlfriend from
Wellesley. His streetsmarts have translated to stellar academic
performances, and most of all, he's blessed us with culinary skills that we
all savor. The streets have trained this man well.

| Richard Park '05 | Smithville,
NJ | Management |
Although he seems quiet and humble, beware of falling into the "first impression" trap. Inside this quiet
brother actually lies someone who's not afraid to constantly remind you of how much he can outbench
you. You see, the long years of conditioning and exercise have molded this Korean into the centerpiece
on PKT's IM Tennis team, where his smooth ground strokes remind onlookers of Michael Chang; in
football, where he possesses Ray Lewis-like skills; and on the basketball team, where his quick jukes
and pull-up jumpers have drawn comparisons to Spud Webb. Needless to say, this man has many fans,
but his biggest fan is himself. Just listen to some of the things he says around this house: "I have
realized the full-potential of my God-given body."
