We will explain how the Internet works, from hardware such as Ethernet to
protocols including TCP/IP and applications like e-mail and the Web. The
course will focus on general internetworking knowledge, but we will also
present some material on the history of the Internet, current events, how
the Internet is engineered, and current events.
