The MIT Society of Women Engineers offers a wide array of events to bring the MIT and local community (young middle/high school students, undergrads, grads, and alumni) together to collectively promote a successful future for women in engineering. We have workshops on resume-writing, interviewing, and dinner etiquette. We also have semi-annual Meet the Professionals dinners for members to learn more about career choices in engineering and hear about the experiences of alumni. In outreach, we help with National Engineering Week at the Boston Children's Museum and also organize events with high school and middle school students to solve engineering problems such as how to deliver supplies to an island. MITSWE has frequent study breaks, undergrad/grad student mixers, and semi-annual Meet Your Professors dinners.
