About www.mit.edu
Www.mit.edu is a web server maintained by the Student
Information Processing Board of MIT, a volunteer student
group that provides services to the MIT community. Our server is
currently a Sparc 5 running SunOS and the Apache web server.
Www.mit.edu was first set up in May of 1993 as one of the first 100
web servers in the world.
