Dear sirs:

I am petitioning to add 18.284 (Functions of a Complex Variable) after
add date.  I have listened in on the course, learned the material,
and done the work, and now would like to add the course for credit.

In the beginning of the term I was uncertain whether or not I would be
able to handle my current course load of 66 units in addition to
18.284, and, after a discussion with my advisor, decided to audit this
course, with the understanding that if I could keep up with the work
by the end of the term, I could petition to add it.  The end of the
term has come, and I have handed in my homework and taken the quizzes.
I have learned the required material, thereby making a second term of
the same course superfluous.

For this reason, I, Kevin Iga, hereby petition to add the course.
