Political Groups
- The Asian Pacific
American Caucus is a political group which targets issues
specific to Asian Americans, as well as more general race issues
in education and and society.

MIT College Republicans promotes the principles of the
Republican Party among the students at MIT, and aims to develop
political skills and leadership abilities among its members.

MIT Libertarians is a grass roots political club on campus,
dedicated to furthering libertarian principles, including the
policies and candidates of the Libertarian Party.

MIT Pro-Life is a student organization devoted to fostering
respect for human life from the moment of conception.
- The
MIT Radicals for Capitalism/Objectivist Lyceum is a group
dedicated to studying Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism and to
promoting pro-freedom, pro-reason ideas.

MIT Student Association for Freedom of Expression works to
prevent curbs on freedom of speech and other forms of freedom of
expression, especially by the Institute and by the government.
- The
Students for Ethical Treatment of Animals fosters awareness
of various issues related to animal rights and welfare.
