- The
ECSEL is one of several coalitions funded by the National
Science Foundation that have been working to improve engineering
education and reduce barriers to minorities and women.
- MIT Gay, Lesbian, and
Bisexual Grad Student Coffeehouse

GAMIT, or Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders, and
Friends at MIT, hosts study breaks, parties, support groups, and
other activities for members of MIT's Gay and Lesbian community.

Vegetarian Support Group is a very informal organization
interested in vegetarian issues. Membership is free,
noncommittal and comes with NO requirements (being vegetarian is
not a prerequisite).
