Directions to MIT 1-203
aka "The Jongleurs Room"
General conceptual directions:
It's at MIT, on the stretch of building 1 which is parallel to the
Infinite Corridor, on the second floor; from the front door, take the
immediate right, the first major left and get to the second floor.
General actual directions:
Get yourself to the main doors at MIT, at 77 Massachusetts Ave.,
Cambridge, MA, USA, Earth, Sol Planetary System. This is the big
federalist, neo-classical entrance (columns, steps, dome, and the
words "Massachvsetts Institvte of Technology" across it). Enter. You
are now in Lobby 7.
Via stairs: Turn right to corridor. Walk down corridor to
stairwell on your right. Go up one floor. Turn right (continue in
the direction you were heading), and at the next intersection, a
stairwell-lobby, turn left. Down this corridor, room 1-203 will be on
your left.
Via elevator: in the far left corner of the lobby is something
which looks like a pedestal for a sculpture which isn't there. Behind
that is an elevator. Take it to the second floor. Turn right, and
proceed around balcony of Lobby 7, all the way around to the end;
there will be a corridor to your left. Turn down the corridor, and go
two buildings. You will enter into a stairwell-lobby; turn left.
Down this corridor, room 1-203 will be on your left.
Alternative via elevator: The other elevator is out of order,
for the time being.
Alternative directions from the hidden parking lot:
Stand in the parking lot with your back to the flashing red light.
Via stairs In the far left corner is a door; go through it and
proceed to the main corridor. To your left you will find a stairwell.
Take this to the second floor, and turn left-ish/straight ahead. Room
1-203 is a short distance down on your right.
Via elevator: Elevator is out of order at the moment.
