Directions to MIT 6-120

aka "The Council Room"

Take your best route to 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. This is the "front door" to MIT, distinguished by the dome, columns, steps, etc. The #1 MBTA bus stops right there. Enter MIT here.

You will find yourself in a large lobby ("Lobby 7" in local parlance). Walk directly across it, and proceed down the corridor there. This corridor is "The Infinite Corridor" and is one of the more important internal landmarks. Proceed through the war-memorial lobby (Lobby 10), and continue on until the corridor T's off. Turn right. Proceed to next lobby (Lobby 6); 6-120 is first door on right, opposite the lobby.
