Last I checked, Quebec wasn't part of Canada.... wait, no that was wishfull
thinking that was being projected direct into my forebrain by some of the
people up north ;) There are what, almost a dozen Canadian provinces, and they
each have some weird interpretation of this host liquor law. I have been having
these Canadian discussions with people from several different kingdoms and am
getting an idea of how interesting things are up there.

That being said, my statement is still mostly true, The Canadian groups operate
under a different insurance policy that acknowledges Canadian laws relating to
alcohol and it's various provinces interpretations and extensions, up to and
including some provinces requirement that the host group furnish a license and
sometimes a licensed provider. Whatever the local laws are in Canada, our
Canadian insurance is designed to handle it.

However, all of the Canadian groups, operate under a completely different
insurance coverage. Down on our side of the border, our groups would be
prohibited by our USA insurance to even have a license let alone owning any
liquor, beer or wine. It would be the site that obtained the license and the
host liability policy. We would operate under their host liquor liability
policy as they would be doing the serving (usually via a cash bar).

I had hoped that what I said above was enough, but hey... too many provinces,
too many rules ;)
