Listen to CDs, but of course that has copyright difficulties.

If you have looked at http://www.pbm.com/~lindahl/minstrel.html as I
suggested recently, then of course you are familiar with Vlad the
Purple's "tunes for filking", which are available as MIDI and as
printed music, and which are not copyright. I'd love to see more
resources like this.
