There's a discussion of this, and plastic and wood recorders, in the
archive. And allow me to say that you can get better results from a
new plastic recorder than a cheap wooden one: it's a simple matter of
performance. Unless you have enough money to buy a _good_ wooden
recorder, go plastic and spend your money on something else.
