Damn, did I flake out on you?  I don't remember this.  Sorry if I did.

Meanwhile, everyone interested in part-drinking songs, go out and buy
a copy of "The Chester Books of Madrigals: 6. Smoking & Drinking" from
Chester Music, edited by Anthony G. Petti, ID 55614.  It's British,
and you'll probably need to special order it, but I got it for a mere
$7.95.  

In fact, the entire Chester Books of Madrigals series is *topical* --
thereby solving one of the great problems before SCA bards looking for
period stuff.  They have a book on "Desirable Women" and one on
"Warfare" and on "The Seasons", etc.  Have only used two (the one
above and "Sing & Dancing" which I made the mistake of loaning to
someone....), but they've been fantastic.
