That's right. And if the entrant has not documented in a competition
where authenticity is important, I'll mark them down for the
documentation score. If an entrant hands me an entire book or a
300-page paper *with no summary*, there's usually no way I can quickly
evaluate it, so they'll get marked down.

If, on the other hand, if the competition is about entertainment and
also has a "entries should be authentic" requirement, but doesn't judge
on authenticity, I'll usually have a rather relaxed attitude when it
comes to authenticity.
