True. On the other hand, as I mentioned before, I probably get to NJ
alone as much as I do everything north of us. It really varies quite a
bit from person to person.

True; on the other hand, the number is still vanishingly small -- perhaps
half a dozen Carolingians have made it up there, and I don't *think*
anyone's gone twice. (It's a very pleasant place to visit, but it's
expensive and time-consuming getting there.) And the circumstances
should be noted -- that *was* an EKU that most of us went to, and
Carolingia is (I believe justly) well-known for enthusiasm for arts of
all sorts, and teaching...

(We don't even have that many people get up to Nova Scotia, which is
considerably closer -- if you discount Vlad (who is effectively
Carolingia's ambassador to the Far North) I doubt that we've had
six person-visits to Ruantallan in the past two years...)

>At EKU, except for the King, all the "visitors" where from Carolingia. Given
>Carolingia's reputation for travelling, I found this to be amusing.

Indeed, but I think any reasonable person would concede that that
reputation is a dinosaur at this point. There was a point (not even
all that long ago) when Carolingians were isolationist as a rule,
but I really don't think that's the case any more. However, there
really doesn't seem to be all that much consistency to *where* we
travel...
