Subject: Mt. Freehold Yule

Mountain Freehold is holding its annual Yule Feast on Dec. 5 this year, despite
the fact that it is not listed in Pikestaff.  The usual site of recent years 
has become too expensive, so it has been moved back to the church in Burlington
where it has been held in the past.  This site is considerably smaller, so it
will be at a new site next year.

The event will basically be unstructured, allowing for games and general
socializing all afternoon.  There will be a dessert buffet (to which people
are encouraged to contribute) in the afternoon.

Due to the size of the site, on board is limited to 100, and there will be
no off board tables.  Even out board is limited, so advance reservations are
encouraged.  On board prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children, day visitors
are $4 adult, $1 children.  Reservations should be sent to Marieke, c/o
Christina Krupp, 83-G No. Champlain St., Burlington, VT 05401.


I admit I have a motive in forwarding this information to Carolingia - I am
from Mt. Freehold (currently attending MIT), and would like a ride to this
event.  My parents live less than 15 minutes from the site, so I can provide
good crash space for anyone willing to give me a ride.  Anyone who wants to
