Subject: Re: Black Rose Ball

The Black Rose Ball will be held tomorrow, March 5, at the
Memorial Union [student center] at the University of Rhode
Island in South Kingston RI.

Doors open at noon; dance instruction in the afternoon
(12-6). Dinner break (BYO/go out for) 6-7 pm. Dancing
7-11 pm. Site is dry. No merchant space.

Cost $5 advance (too late!), $6 at the door. $1 discount for
students. Always room at the door. Children's prices also
available.

Directions from the North:
Take I-95 south, to Route 4 south. Route 4 will eventually
become Route 1 south. Continue along this until you reach the
intersection with Route 138 West. The restaurant "Tavern on the
Hill" is on the corner, as are a gas station and an old wooden
fire tower. Signs for the Univ. of RI will be posted. Take
a right, to proceed west on Route 138. Once on it, proceed through
one intersection with a stop light, then take a right at the
next, which is Upper College Road. Take your first left, then take
a right at the stop sign. There will be a semicircle/bus stop
before you with several large buildings nearby. The one across
the street from you to your left is the site, the Memorial Union.
For parking, take a left (at the stop sign) down the hill. If there
are no spaces at that point, follow the road as it curves right at
the bottom of the hill. Turn right at the second stop sign. Parking
lots are at the next intersection, a large one to the left, and two
smaller ones to the right. The site is next to the one that is
is farthest right.
