I wasn't sure if Tibicen's note was supposed to blister the eyeballs, but
her privately sent postscript removed all doubt. It was.

Tibicen, I'm just not interested in a fight right now.  So, let's not.

Suffice it to say that I am happy with my relationships with the boroughs, I
am as helpful as I can be, and that my private relationships with individuals
are just that.

Sometimes I do projects with people, either as student, teacher or partner.
I do them regardless of age and stage. Personal relationships run in
spectrums, not quanta.

I repeat, why formalize a particular type of relationship, at a particular
quantum of involvement? Why do you offer yourself as intermediary in these
relationships, when they are personal?

If you are trying to increase the level of involvement between long-term
Carolingians and students, why not just say so?

FYI folks, I am leaving work now, for Northern Region Fencing championships.
Brickbats and bouquets, both, will have to wait until Sunday at the
earliest.
